Best Business Credit Cards For 2017

Best Business Credit Cards For 2017

We tested over sixty cards in total that offered some sort of business incentive or use. The credit cards listed below in this article are the best business credit cards that are widely available. There is a chance that a local credit card company offers a better deal than what is on offer below, but we have only included cards that most US business owners are able to apply for no matter where in the US they operate.

Best Business Card for Cash Back

SimplyCash Plus Business Credit Card from American Express

I am aware that there are plenty of other credit cards out there that offer a very good cash back incentive, but it was my job to test them all and see which came out on top. The American Express card comes out on top with regards to cash-back benefits.

The Pros

Earn 5% Cash Back For Some Purchases

You get 5% cash back if you spend money on wireless telephone services from US providers, and if you spend money in US office supply stores.

Earn 3% Cash Back In Eight Categories

Choose eight categories in their list, and you will receive 3% cash back on the items and services you buy with your card. You receive 1% cash back on all other purchases.

Earn Rewards Up To $25,000 or $50,000

The 3% and the 5% only applies to $50,000 of purchases per year. When I signed up for my card, they only allowed rewards for up to $25,000. The 1% cash-back offer was unlimited.

No Annual Fee And An Introductory APR Offer

There is no annual fee for having and using your SimplyCash Plus Business Credit Card from American Express. There is also a 0% APR introductory offer on purchases for your first 9 months. Your regular APR will be 12.99%, 17.99% or 19.99%.

Spend More Than Your Credit Limit

The way it works is difficult to understand, and they will nail you with a penalty interest rate if you get it wrong. The way it works is that you may spend above your credit limit each month, so long as your balance is paid back to your credit limit before your next bill is produced.

There Are Other Options You May Purchase

Get your SimplyCash Plus Business Credit Card from American Express, and you may also sign up for baggage insurance, travel accident insurance, extended warranty, car rental damage/loss insurance, and purchase protection insurance.

Your Over-Limit Amount Goes Up

If you go over your limit and pay it back in time when your bill is produced, then the amount you may go over your credit limit will increase over time.

The Cons

Why is it so difficult to find negative points about the SimplyCash Plus Business Credit Card from American Express, even though we found a few downsides within just a few days of getting an account? Is AMEX doing its best to bury or prune negative comments, or is there something else going on here? We would like to hear from anybody who has placed a negative comment or review about SimplyCash Plus Business Credit Card from American Express on another website and had the review disappear on them.

Fatal Error Restart CPU With Any Key

The customer service department is staffed by robots with human skin. Talking to the customer service agents is like robots reading from a script. It becomes annoying when you keep getting the same response over and over again. Requests for clarification are answered with another script reading.

Customer Service Procedures Are Unacceptable

Want a problem escalating–denied. Want to speak to a floor manager–denied. Is there a problem with the website that you need tech support for–denied. I have never had these problems with American Express workers before, I cannot understand why the customer support for the SimplyCash Plus Business Credit Card is so shoddy.

The Card Is Not As Robust As Others

There is a 2.7% foreign transaction fee, and they wouldn’t send me a card with an EMV chip enabled. Plus, the bonus cash-back only applies to purchases up to $25,000 per year, despite the fact that the number $50,000 is thrown around their website like beer around a frat house.

A Sad Penalty Interest Rate

The penalty interest rate is 27.24%, which isn’t terrible. I have tested plenty of cards with dirtier penalty interest rates, but I expected a little more from an American Express business card. I thought American Express would be a little kinder to businesses. They should know that businesses have ups and downs–AMEX shouldn’t be punishing businesses for having a bad time.

Less Protection

I checked and double checked this because I was surprised, but the card doesn’t have fraud insurance. There is no form of fraud liability protection unless you pay for it yourself. Hang your head in shame AMEX. Don’t get me wrong, the SimplyCash Plus Business Credit Card from American Express is a good card and it deserves its place on this list, but I feel they could have done a little better.

Best Business Card for AA Travelers

CitiBusiness / AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard

CitiBusiness AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard

This business credit card is a good card on its own, but it really shines for people who frequently take business trips with American Airlines. Traveling by air is a big business expense, and it can seriously affect your bottom line. This credit card offers a genuine return on investment for expenses you are going to have to pay out anyway. Where is the harm in harvesting a few benefits from money you are already forced to spend?

Why We Recommend It

A Large Introductory Offer

I am not a fan of introductory offers because I think credit cards should reward loyal customers over new ones. Nevertheless, many people choose the CitiBusiness / AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard because of the introductory offer. You get 30,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles for spending just $1000 on purchases within three months of opening the account.

The First Year’s Annual Fee is Waived

You are going to have to pay $95 per year to keep and use your CitiBusiness / AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard. The first twelve months is free so long as you stick to the terms and conditions of the card.

No Foreign Transaction Fees And The APR is 16.49%

The APR is variable, but a good credit rating will buy you a 16.49% APR, which is very good. The company could easily stick you with a foreign transaction fee to exploit the fact you are obviously a frequent traveler, but there is no foreign transaction fee with CitiBusiness / AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard.

American Airlines Flight Perks

Take a domestic flight, and your first bag is checked for free. It works for you and up to four others on the same reservation. You may earn preferred boarding on domestic flights. You may also earn American Airlines Companion certificates, but there are a slew of terms and conditions that go with it.

Business Account Perks

Get an employee card at no additional cost, and earn miles on what your employee spends on the card. You may use their personal business assistant to help you arrange complicated bookings. You may ask for annual and quarterly account summaries to keep a check on how your employees are using their cards.

Travel Rewards

Keep a check on the select business categories, and you may earn two miles for every dollar you spend within those categories. The categories include things such as money spent in gas stations, on telecommunications and car rentals.

The Best Rewards Are Travel Rewards

Keep abreast of the offers, terms and conditions issued by the American Airlines, and you may claim rewards by using fewer miles. There are some offers where you may get your flight while spending 7500 fewer miles points.

The Cons

Annual Fee Leaves Some At A Disadvantage

I know I am nit picking with this point, but the annual fee will leave lighter users at a disadvantage. If you are planning to sign up for the CitiBusiness / AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard, then use it a lot or cancel it.

Blacker Than A Gorilla’s Goolies

The CitiBusiness / AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard deserves it place on our list, but they do have blackout dates that they could have avoided. They should allow people to manipulate the card’s benefits for advantages they cannot get elsewhere–that is the fun of having cards like this.

Fees For Phone Award Booking

Yep, you read it right, their phone award booking will cost you a fee. It wouldn’t be a big problem, except that travel on partner airlines cannot be redeemed online, you have to call them and pay the phoning fee.

Sneaky Fees For Redemptions And Cancellations

While I was pouring over their small print, and the many associated PDFs that come with different awards relating to different travel companies, I found there are various fees for award redemptions and cancellations. These may come as an unwelcome surprise for some people who haven’t spent the best years of their life reading through dull and boilerplate small print (alas, tis my job to pour over small print so that you do not have to. Alas, the remainder of my youth is slipping away as quickly as my hairline).

The Best Business Travel Credit Card

Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card

Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card

The Citi card described in the section above is great for people who travel by air rather frequently and for people who favor American Airlines over all others. If you fall into that category, then the Citi credit card mentioned above it top notch.

If you consider yourself more of an “all round” traveler, then the Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card may suit you better. There is nothing stopping you getting both this card and the Citi one mentioned above if you are a frequent business traveler.

Why We Think It’s the Best Travel Card

Earn A Reasonably Large Introduction Bonus

You may earn a bonus of 25,000 Starpoints if you use your credit card to make $5000 of purchases within the first five months of getting your card.

The First Year’s Annual Fee Is Waived

You normally have to pay $95 to have and use your card, but you get the first year for free. If you don’t use your card regularly, then you should cancel it before the 12-month period is over.

The APR Rates Are Pretty Good

You will receive an APR rate of 19.99%, 17.99% or 15.99%. They are not the best rates in the world, but they are pretty good when you consider what their competitors are offering.

Earn Starwood Preferred Guest Points

Become a Starwood Preferred member, and get your Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card, and you may earn up to 5 points per dollar spent. Obviously, you have to spend your money in SPG hotels or on approved purchases. Points may be spent on free nights in hotels, SPG flights, Sheraton club lounge access and accelerating your SPG Gold status.

Plenty Of Travel And Hotel Perks

There are no transaction fees for using your card in other countries, and you receive free in-room premium Internet access. Receive credit for five nights and two stays towards SPG Elite status each year. You may also give your employees a Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card and earn points from their purchases.

You May Purchase Extras

You may sign up for their baggage insurance plan, purchase protection, car rental damage/loss insurance, and travel accident insurance. They have an extended warranty plan, and you may use their global assistance hotline and their roadside assistance hotline.

The Negatives

Using It Less Will Cause You Stress

Make no mistake, the Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card is a great card, but you need to be a heavy user to get the most out of it. The benefits of having it are eroded away by the annual fee.

Gollum saying tricksy

The AMEX website says that you get as many as 5x points at SPG properties, but all is not as it seems. You only get 2x points from the Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card itself. The other 2x or 3x points come from your standard SPG member points. I discovered this because I wasn’t already an SPG member and couldn’t figure out why my SPG property points were less than promised.

The Customer Service Is Less Than Perfect

Yet again, I enter the world of nit-picking, but I wasn’t too impressed with their customer support. They don’t seem to have the capacity or power to change things. Unless you want your personal details changing, they cannot help. There may be an automated element to their customer service department that I didn’t pick up on.

Shafted Like A Miner

I will admit that I had the Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Card for less than a year, so I wasn’t given the shaft with regards to points, but I heard a few rumors that the company makes it more difficult to build points if you are long-term customer. I went online to sniff around a few forums, and a few long-term customers seemed to echo the sentiment.

Best Business Card for Good Credit

Spark Miles Select From Spark Business

Spark Miles Select From Spark Business card

The business you own may have a great credit rating. It may have a long and well-managed banking history, and it may have handled credit/debt very well in the past. If your business has a good credit rating/history, then you may be approved for the Spark Miles Select From Spark Business card. You may still be approved even if your personal credit rating is not so hot.

Why We Think It’s The Best for Good Credit

Unlimited Miles Rewards On Every Purchase

Earn up to 1.5 points on every dollar you spend. The 1.5 points are called miles, and you can earn as many as you wish. There are no blackout dates, no minimum to redeem and no seat restrictions.

An Introductory Offer Equaling 20,000 Miles

Spend $3000 on purchases within three months of opening your account, and you get 20,000 miles, which comes to around $200 in reduced air fares.

Fraud Coverage And Alerts

Normally, you get $0 liability for fraud, but since there are some cards on this list that do not offer it as standard, Capital One can have it as a positive benefit for having their card. You may also set up phone, text and email alerts where you are contacted if suspicious transactions are executed.

Get A Free Card For Your Employees

Getting a card for your employee(s) will not cost you an additional money, and there is no annual fee for the card, so there are no hidden fees in that direction either. You may have their card purchases count toward your pool of miles points.

A Reasonable APR Rate And Introductory Offer

The APR you receive will depend on your creditworthiness, but you can expect a rate between 21.74% and 13.74%. During the first nine months, the APR rate is 0% for nine months for purchases.

No Foreign Transaction Fees And Rewards Don’t Expire

If you make purchases outside of the USA, you will not be charged foreign transaction fees. When you earn rewards with your Spark Miles Select From Spark Business Card, they do not have to be spent within a time limit. Your reward points stay on your card for as long as you have it open.

Sign Up For Other Business Benefit Plans

There is an auto rental collision damage waiver package you can sign up for, there is extra purchase security and extended protection, and there is travel and emergency assistance services. Also, you may sign up for quarterly and year-end summaries to keep track of what is happening on your card.

The Negatives

I really laid into the Spark Miles Select From Spark Business Card, and I did it because I couldn’t find another website that gives you its downsides. I don’t know why, but there are hundreds of other articles reviewing the Spark Miles Select From Spark Business Card and none of them mention its downsides. Capital One is a great company, but it doesn’t mean we have to hide their dirty laundry under the carpet.

Don’t Believe Those Lying Skag Bags

Other online articles are lying to you. They play down the credit rating you need in order to get a Spark Miles Select From Spark Business Card. Other articles play down how frupping hard it is to get one of these cards because they want you to sign up for one through them so that they get paid for it. Those sneaky sons-o-bitches. We would never accept payment for having people sign up for stuff. On a different topic, have you tried Transferwise? Its grrreat. Make no mistake, your credit rating needs to be excellent in order qualify for a Spark Miles Select From Spark Business Card.

The Miles Are Good, But Not Great

The earning rate is capped at 1.5%, which means cards such as American Express Business Gold Rewards and American Express Starwood Preferred Guest Business Card has better miles rewards. Cap One’s miles are worth $0.01 a piece, whereas I have seen Starwood give as much as $0.05. The capped earning rate is a bit of a downside with the Spark Miles Select From Spark Business Card.

None-Travel Rewards Are Nasty

According to my calculations, the travel redemptions have the best value. You can claim your accumulated miles back with things such as merchandise, cash back, and non-travel items, but the travel rewards offer the best value. In fact, some of the non-travel redemption options may cut the value of your miles in half.

No Membership Status Tiers

You don’t get things such as enrollment into travel loyalty programs or frequent flyer programs when you sign up for your Spark Miles Select From Spark Business Card. For example, if you signed up with the Gold Delta SkyMiles Business credit card with AMEX, you also get automatic enrollment with Delta’s loyalty program. It isn’t a big downside. It isn’t the same as getting down the aisle with a tubby young woman, only to find out it is your brother in drag. Still, just like your brother on the honeymoon, the lack of something expected is a bit of a downer.

Limited Travel Benefits For Users

I did say I was going to be hard on Cappy One in this bit. Yes, the Spark Miles Select From Spark Business Card offers a fair amount of rewards for travelers, but they offer ever so slightly less than others in its position. Other cards allow you to travel in style, whereas the Spark Miles Select allows you to travel a little cheaper. Some business users may expect to travel with a little more style than maybe the Spark Miles Select allows them to.

Best Card With Excellent Personal Credit

U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard

U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard

I thought I had a very good handle on the subject of a business credit rating and personal credit rating, but writing this article has muddied by thoughts a little. From what I understand, you can get this credit card if you personally have a good credit rating, even if your business itself doesn’t have a good credit rating.

The way it was explained to me was that some people with great personal credit ratings start new businesses, and the lack of a banking history means the business itself is denied credit. However, if you have an excellent personal FICO score (credit rating), and your business doesn’t have a bad credit rating, then you will be approved for this business credit card.

Why We Recommend It with Excellent Credit

Get Up To 3% Back On Some Purchases

To quote the website, you may “Earn 3% cash back on all gas, cellular, and office supply store eligible net purchases.” In other words, you can earn cash back, but read all the terms and conditions first. There is no limit on the amount of cash rewards you may earn, and your cash rewards do not expire.

Earn 1% Cash Back And Get A 25% Annual Bonus

You may earn as much as 1% cash back on other eligible net purchases. They also give you 25% of the cash rewards bonus that you received last year up to a limit of $250. For example, if you earned $100 last year in cash-back rewards, then you get $25 again in the following year.

A Low APR And An Introductory Offer

Applicants need a good credit rating in order to be approved for a U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard. If you are approved, you will receive an APR rate of between 18.74% and 12.74%. There is no APR on the purchases you make for the first nine months.

Zero Fraud Liability And No Annual Fee

Just like I did with the Capital One card, I am pushing their zero fraud liability benefit as a selling point because other cards on this list do not have $0 fraud liability as standard. Your U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard also comes with no annual fee.

Sign Up Your Employees For Free

Give your employees a U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard by going through the correct process and ordering a card from your US Bank credit card account with the specific aim of giving it to a business employee. Not only is the card free, and not only is there no annual fee for it, but you also earn cash rewards from the purchases your employees make.

Plenty Of Cardholder Tools For You To Play With

If you still doubt that the U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard is a stonking good card, then here are a few of the tools you may also use within your account.

  • Online Banking
  • Pay Bills
  • Online Reporting
  • U.S. Bank FlexControl™
  • U.S. Bank Connect Business Network™ Solutions
  • MasterCard Easy Savings™

Claim Your Rewards At $25 Intervals

Earn $25 in rewards and you can claim them. You may also claim them in $25 intervals after that. For example, if you have $33 in rewards, you can claim $25. If you have $55 in rewards, you can claim $50. Your rewards do not expire so long as your account is open.

The Cons

It is my job to be as unbiased as possible, and I have to show I am as unbiased as possible. Of all the “best business credit cards” in this list, this is the one that had the fewest downsides. The other cards don’t have killer or ultimately nasty downsides, and nor does this card, but I really couldn’t find much wrong with it. So, to make the article appear more balanced, I have plumped up these downsides a little.

Crappy Sign Up Bonus

If you have read the other brilliant articles I have written on this website, then you are probably smarter and darn wealthier for it, and you may also recall that I don’t appreciate sign up bonuses for credit cards. To me, a sign up bonus is just another way that a customer rewards new customers while ignoring their loyal customers. Nevertheless, I couldn’t find any decent downsides, so I say that the sign up bonus is crappy. When I signed up, I got $150 in cash back, but that deal seems to have ended. At the time of writing, there is no longer a $150 cash-back offer.

A Limited As The Brains Of Any Leftist Who Calls Right Wingers Evil

Oh yeah, I am bringing politics into it, so you don’t recognize that I am really struggling to find downsides for this card. The card has limited categories for rewards.

For example, you get 3% cash back at office supply places and gas stations, and you get 2% at restaurants. You get 1% cash back for anything else. Still, there is no need to complain, it is more cash back than you deserve.

To address my political header, if you are dumb enough to call people evil without being brave enough to have an open discussion with them first, then you are as dumb as burnt toast. In which case, you should probably be reading NerdWallet or WalletHub. I hear that NerdWallet has wots of purdy piktures fur ya!

The Cheeky Buggers Will Charge You Fees

The U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard has foreign transaction fees and limited travel benefits. It is not much of a downside in the grand scheme of things. If you are big on business travel, then they do have the Bank of America Travel Rewards World MasterCard for Business credit card.

Dip Your Tongue In Yogurt To Try It First

If you are big on testing, and you haven’t been thrown out of WalMart for trying the yogurts* without buying, then you may use your keen testing skills when you use your U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard. Each merchant appears to have its services listed in one way or another with the Bank Of America. The amount you receive in rewards seems to relate to what the business is listed as.

For example, if you run into a home goods store and they have a whole wing for office supplies, then there is a chance you will get your full 3% cash back for buying office goods there. There is also a chance you will get the 1% cash back deal. Before making big purchases, you should run a small test to see if you get the higher rate of cash back. If you are itching to receive the higher rate of cash back, run tests and see if you get your full 3% cash back reward.

* Originally, that line said “condoms,” but the echeck.org editor insisted that I change it with something less inflammatory. I told him that condoms shouldn’t cause inflammation, but he shook his head and went back to flirting with the receptionist.

Best Card For Fair/OK Credit Ratings

Capital One Spark Classic for Business

Capital One Spark Classic for Business

If you have a credit rating that runs between 630 and 689, then you may have a little trouble getting a business credit card. Don’t be taken in by the vast amount of terrible business credit cards out there for people with okay credit. Here is a card that offers a very good service and has great standards. It doesn’t seem to matter if your business is the one with the okay credit rating or if you personally have a good credit rating.

Why We Recommend It for OK Credit

One of the reasons I love this card is because you can have a smelly old credit rating that causes your snooty British chums to laugh at you as you shuffle your not-handmade shoes along the sidewalk, the card doesn’t try to screw you like a banker does with a tax payer money bonus. The Capital One Spark Classic for Business card is still a bloody good card, even though you don’t have a brilliant credit rating. The only downside is a slightly higher APR, and that is to be expected. Brava Capital One. If I still needed credit cards in my current situation, when I would have kept this card after the testing period was over.

Earn An Unlimited 1% Cash Back On All Purchases

There are plenty of cards that say you can earn X% if you spend here and X% if you spend there, and that is fair enough, but Cappy One has kept it simple by saying you get 1% on any purchase you make.

No Annual Fee For Your Card

Credit cards tend to punish businesses and users who have a less-than-good credit rating, and a high annual fee is one way that companies mete out such punishments. Yet, your Capital One Spark Classic for Business card will not cost you an annual maintenance fee.

A High-But-Fair APR Rate

The APR rate you will receive is 23.74%. It is rather high for a business credit card, but when you consider the quality of the card service you receive, then it is tiny. Take good care of your account and frequently repay your balance before the billing date and you will be fine.

Zero Fraud Liability And There Are Alerts

I am pushing their zero fraud liability benefit as a selling point because other cards on this list do not have $0 fraud liability as standard. Your Capital One Spark Classic for Business card also comes with $0 fraud liability, and you can set up email, text and phone alerts that inform you of any suspicious transactions.

There Is A Rewards Tool On The Website

Many of the Capital One cards have dedicated pages where you may learn about the card and the amount of rewards you will get for spending certain amounts of money. Before signing up for the Capital One Spark Classic for Business card, you may try their rewards tool to see how much you will earn in rewards if you spend a set amount.

The Negatives

If you haven’t thought it already, allow me to plant this seed in your head, don’t you think it is a little unfair adding “Downsides” to an article of this nature? After all, this is an article about the very best business credit cards, so surly there should be very few downsides, right? Yes, it is true, there are very few downsides, and in most other articles of this nature I have left out the downsides. Nevertheless, a small downside for a consumer is no big deal, but a small downside for a business may cost people their jobs, so here are a few downsides for having a Capital One Spark Classic for Business card.

A P R 2 H IG H

I have said it before, and I will say it again (I actually do say it again in the next review below about the Chase card), criticizing a business credit card for having a high APR is unfair. It is especially unfair when you look at their competition and see just how “fair” their APR rates are. I have tried business credit cards with double the APR rate of the Capital One Spark Classic for Business card.

Nevertheless, the company is being just a little bit naughty with their APR rate. They could stand to lower the prices a little without having to sacrifice the air conditioning in their skyscraper. Mind you, I don’t mind what the company spends its money on, it is their money and they earned it. Capital One could spend the profits from their high APR on hiring a line of young boys to present their buttocks and act as a toast rack to hold hot toasty crumpets, just so long at Cappy One don’t go all Catholic Priest about it.

It Could Damage Your Credit Rating

To get all serious, there is a mild chance that this card could damage your credit rating for a short while. If you take out liability on the card, then they report it to the credit scorers, which then lowers your credit rating because it affects how your credit utilization score. You may be furrowing your brow in a vain attempt to understand why this is, but it shouldn’t matter if you are desperately trying to maintain your credit rating. If your credit rating is more of a passing concern, then don’t worry too much about this because it only has a short term effect on your credit rating.

More Than One Hard One

Though it didn’t happen to me, because I have the credit rating of a Swiss bank, I have heard stories about people having two hard credit checks. It seems to happen when Capital One is not 100% sure about your application. Why would they run more than one credit check? Do they have short memories? From what I can gather, the company runs your check through one department, and if they are not sure about you, they send your application on to another wing of the company, and this wing of the company runs its own credit check. There are some people who have kicked up a fuss about their overly-long application-processing time, and it has resulted in a third hard check.

It May Take Longer Than NightWish Song

For all of you who do not know, NightWish are a truly amazing band who have managed to mix orchestral music with hard rock. One of the greatest things about them is how their songs bang on for ages. If you have applied for a Capital One Spark Classic for Business card, and your decision hasn’t arrived within 24-hours, then you may be in for a long wait. You should probably buy the whole discography of NightWish (and their awesome/scary movie) because you are going to need something to do while you wait. If your application is marked as “pending,” then you could be looking at a wait that goes on for days or weeks.

Yes Sir, No Sir, May I Hold That Sir, That Hurts Sir

The customer service department seems to be trained to agree with you even if they are telling you something contrary to what you are saying. You could be saying that they told you that they would send you a golden telephone so you can recreate a scene from Godfather 2, and the customer support operative will agree with you, while also telling you that you are not getting your golden telephone.

I actually read this rumor online and thought I would test it out to see if it was true. I called a total of six times to see if I got a different experience, and each time I received answers from people who agreed with me, even though they were trying to communicate a contrary message.

A Reasonably Good Runner Up Credit Card

Chase Ink Business Cash Credit Card

Chase Ink Business Cash Credit Card

If none of the cards above are your cup of coffee, if none of them tickle you in places you have never been tickled before, then this card may be what you need. I consider it to be a good all-rounder card.

Why It’s a Good ‘All Round’ Card (and Runner Up Choice)

An Introductory Offer With $300 Cash Back

Spend $3000 on purchases within three months of opening your account, and you get $300 cash back. As I have mentioned already, we shouldn’t praise a credit card for its introductory offer, but some people choose this card because of its intro offer.

Earn Cash Back On Every Purchase

Restrictions do apply, but in general, if you are making a purchase with your card, then you will receive at least 1% cash back on it. Plus, there is no limit to the amount of cash-back rewards that you receive.

There Is A 5% Cash Back Offer

Earn as much as 5% cash back on the first $25,000 that spent in combined purchases with cellular phone companies, at office supply stores, with internet providers and with cable TV service companies on a yearly basis.

There Is A 2% Cash Back Option

It works in a similar way to the 5% cash back deal. The first $25,000 you spend in combined purchases at gas stations and in restaurants will return a 2% cash back reward. Your cash-back rewards will not expire so long as your account is open.

Add Employees Cards At No Extra Costs

Go through the correct procedure for ordering cards for your employees, and you may give your employees a version of your Chase Ink Business Cash credit card. You may set different spending limits for each card, and you earn cash-back rewards for their spending.

The Negatives

Do not misinterpret this short list of downsides as an incentive to get this card over all the others. Let’s face it, this is a list of the best business credit cards, so you shouldn’t expect any big or killer downsides. These are the best business credit cards on the market, which is why the downsides are milder than Nanny Wendy’s curries.

The Customer Service Can Go Suck A Lemon

I gave them my usual imaginary list of problems that I had generated to test them out, and frankly I found them unsympathetic. What if I had been some old ex-miner with more screws loose than fallen woman’s chastity belt? The Chase customer service team were a little too unsympathetic for my taste.

Like Kissing A Stranger In A Dark NightClub

In other words, there is nothing spectacular to report. The Chase Ink Business Cash credit card deserves it place on our list because it does plenty of things right and very little wrong, but I couldn’t help feeling like something was lacking. All the other cards tickled my excitement box like a virgin girl’s first ride on a horse (the same horse she names “Funny good feeling”).

It Is Easier To Raise The Titanic

Trying to get them to raise your credit limit is harder than raising the Titanic. Two of our business associates have a Chase Ink Business Cash credit card, they have good credit ratings, and they cannot get a credit limit raise. I did a little digging around online, and it appears to be a common problem. Bit of a kick in the sweet and sour balls isn’t it?
